Healthy Soils Australia: Founding Force Behind Soil Week and SCHOOL Week Now Making Global Impact

Healthy Soils Australia (HSA), the nation’s longest-standing soil advocacy group, is proud to celebrate the global recognition now being given to Soil Week and the SCHOOL Week initiative.

Initially developed by HSA in 2021, Soil Week was born from a simple but powerful idea: to raise awareness of the vital link between healthy soils, healthy food, and thriving communities. With the enthusiastic support of educators, farmers, scientists, and community leaders, the program quickly expanded into SCHOOL Week—bringing soil literacy directly into classrooms and empowering the next generation with the knowledge to care for our land.
